Thank You for Joining the Transformation Strategy Workshop

The Wood River Business Alliance extends a heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us for the Transformation Strategy Workshop on August 19th at the Wood River Library.

Your voices — from building owners, business owners, and community members — made this event a meaningful and collaborative step toward shaping the future of downtown Wood River. The conversations, ideas, and perspectives shared will help guide the development of a Transformation Strategy, an economic roadmap designed to align with our community’s unique strengths, history, and future goals.

We are especially grateful to Illinois Main Street and Main Street America for hosting alongside us and sharing their expertise. Their experience and insight provided valuable context as we begin this important process together.

This workshop was just the beginning of the journey. With your continued involvement, we will create a thriving downtown that reflects the pride and spirit of Wood River.
