Venecia’s isn’t just a restaurant...it’s a living dream rooted in tradition and the belief that food is one of the purest ways to show love.

It’s the story of two people, Mikey and Allison, who brought together their heritage and passion to create a place that feels like home.

Mikey came to America with a dream to build a better life, earn his citizenship, and open a restaurant that honors old-world European technique and hospitality.

Today, as head chef and co-owner, he brings that dream to life through handmade dishes, high standards, and a kitchen built on pride in the craft.

Allison, a third-generation Italian-American inspired by her grandmother’s kitchen, carries the traditions of Vicenza, Italy and a deep belief in caring for people through food.

Together they’ve created Venecia’s; a place rooted in heritage, made for our neighbors, and always welcoming you like family.

We serve the Wood River and sourrounding communities. We are blessed to have regular customers from Bethalto, East Alton, Godfrey, Alton, Edwardsville, Roxana, and even some who come from St. Louis!
