Pfund Construction was incorporated in 1990 by high school student, Matthew Pfund. With his grandfather’s entrepreneurial spirit and his father’s business sense, Matt could see at a young age that he loved to build, lead projects, and find better ways to do both.
After obtaining a degree in Construction Management from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, Matt collaborated with world-renowned architects and engineers on some of the largest and most notable projects in St. Louis, including those at Washington University, the Saint Louis Art Museum, and Saint Louis Zoo. These connections helped to fine-tune his vision and passion for the construction profession.
What started as new home residential construction has evolved into a full line of construction services to reimagine how residents live, work, and play. Today, the team at Pfund Construction specialize in commercial construction, urban renewal, master-planned communities, and mixed-use developments while continuing to build the one-of-a-kind new home construction for which Pfund Construction is known.
