Big news is smokin’ in the Metro East! Bootleggin’ BBQ, a beloved barbecue joint known for its bold flavors, craft brews, and welcoming atmosphere, is making the move from St. Louis to downtown Wood River.
The tavern, which recently closed its doors at 4501 Chouteau Avenue in St. Louis on July 3, announced the relocation via Facebook, surprising fans with what they called a "plot twist" in their journey. Their new home will be located at 203 E. Ferguson Ave. in Wood River, adding even more flavor to the growing downtown business district.
An official opening date has yet to be announced, but anticipation is already heating up among local residents and food lovers alike.
