🎃 Downtown Trick or Treat on Ferguson Avenue – Calling All Businesses! 👻
It’s that time of year again—time to bring out the costumes, candy, and community spirit! The Downtown Trick or Treat on Ferguson Avenue is set for Tuesday, October 22 from 6–8 PM, and we’re inviting all Wood River businesses, organizations, and community groups to join in the fun.
This annual event is one of our community’s favorites, drawing hundreds of families to the heart of Downtown Wood River. Kids of all ages come dressed as ghouls, goblins, superheroes, and princesses, ready for a safe and fun evening of trick-or-treating.
✨ What’s New This Year?
For the safety of our trick-or-treaters, Ferguson Avenue will be closed to vehicle traffic during the event. This will give families more room to walk, visit booths, and enjoy the festivities.
🎥 Special Highlight
Our friends at Riverbender will be on hand again this year to broadcast the event live!
👮♂️🚒 Meet local businesses, organizations, churches, the Wood River Fire Department, and the Police Department as they hand out candy and treats.
📍 Parking Information
Parking will be available on the side streets and in the downtown parking lots on Madison/143.
☔ Rain or Shine
This event happens no matter the weather—so get those costumes ready!
👉 Businesses, want to join us?
